Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Knee Arthroscopy Belt (KAB) used for?
The KAB is designed to provide stability and support during knee arthroscopy procedures. It helps stabilize the spine by increasing intra-abdominal pressure and features two side supports to position the patient’s foot securely, converting downward pressure into lateral pressure against the surgeon’s pelvis
How should the KAB be worn?
The KAB should be worn around the waist at the level of the umbilicus. The side supports should rest on the iliac crest to provide proper support and stability during the procedure
Sizing
Our belt falls exactly as indicated in the size chart. You can find the size chart on the product page of our belt [Here]
What are the benefits of using the KAB during knee arthroscopy?
The KAB improves safety and efficiency by stabilizing the patient’s foot and redistributing pressure. This setup reduces strain on the surgeon’s pelvis and ensures better control during the procedure.
